Remember being a little girl and being obsessed with ruffles? The girly girl inside of me is so excited to see ruffles all over the red carpet, runway and on the streets. Ruffles are such a statement that your accessories should be very light and if paired with the right outfit pieces can also be edgy. It’s the perfect way to sweeten up any look. For a night out, slip on an off-the-shoulder ruffled dress or style a girly top with a pair of fresh white skinnies. Too sweet for your taste? Modernize the flounce with menswear elements, like with tailored trousers and brogues, or topped with a sharp blazer. We are seeing ruffles on items such as dresses, jackets, skirts, and shirts and can definitely say this is probably one of my favorite summer trends right now.
