The anticipated collab of Vans X Karl Lagerfeld is about to hit the stores, and now we can finally see what it’s all about.
We held high expectations of this collection which is expected to be launched on September 7, yet regarding the released photos there’s a chance we might be a bit disappointed. The caesar of fashion has contributed his personal, signature style to the street-vibe of Vans, but somehow the total look doesn’t give us goosebumps.
The Capsule collection features 12 styles, all based on a two-toned palette in black and white, which include a t-shirt and sweatshirt with the Vans x KARL LAGERFELD logo, a t-shirt with Lagerfeld’s portray wearing a checkerboard tie, a raglan sleeve bomber, a leather backpack with K-quilted stitching and a cap with a checkerboard brim.
The footwear section includes six interpretations of Vans Classic styles, including the debut of the SK8-Hi Laceless Platform and the Old Skool Laceless platform, both outfitted in luxe leather with K-quilted stitching, white platform soles and the bouclé fabric panels that are familiar from Lagerfeld’s designs for Chanel. Besides that, there’s a solid black leather Slip-On finished with K-quilted details.
The Vans x KARL LAGERFELD collection will be available worldwide beginning September 7, with prices ranging from $40 to $300.
