In case you haven’t noticed Catwalk season is already here and the second stop is London. From Burberry’s Check-list to the Hadid’s and Tommy Hilfiger’s photogenic gang – check all of this weeks happenings…
Emporio Armani
Duble-Breasted suits with colorful stripes or sassy patterns, Airy-pastel nylon-look-a-like cocktail dresses, light sportswear pieces covered with naive sketches of animals and lots of transparent garments to mix with at Emporio Armani runway show? Apparently, yes! It seems that the elegant fashion house found the path to connect with its hip spots – and the outcome is so fresh. LOVED it.
Burberry
Marc Jacobs has just recently announced the fanny packs comeback at his runway show during NYFW, so let’s celebrate it with another blast from the past. Burberry’s creative designer, Christopher Bailey, has shown one hell of a throwback gesturing the iconic check pattern that was so recognized with the British brand in the ’90s. Bailey didn’t stop there… he pulled another nostalgic stunt from his sleeve while mixing the checkers print with some ’90s caps. Now, that’s what we’re calling a double-check.
Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy and Gigi did it again, but this time they weren’t alone. The power couple has sealed LFW with their expected latest collab, side-by-side with sister Bella and brother Anwar. You know how the saying goes…keep it in the family.
Topshop
Snake-patterned jacket on top of a yellow-silky dress, pierced cocoon coat over a slick bodycon gown, some bold pearl chokers and one Hailey Baldwin. Topshop’s runway collection is alluring than ever, regarding the directors’ decision to drop the ‘unique’ from the title and to stick only with ‘Topshop’. As long as the outfits remain unique we couldn’t care less.
Erdem
And from one uniqueness to another: H&M’s latest golden boy (who’s about to drop their expected collab in the beginning of November) has shown some very romantic pieces that remind a modern take on Snow White. We always had a thing for Disney princesses.
