Paris fashion week’s ending seals the four-week catwalk’s festival that started in New York, continued to London and Milan and finally reached the city of light. So, what’s the story line for Spring/Summer 2018, you ask? Well, according to the Parisians the answers are transparent rain hats, sticky hairstyle caged in statement necklaces, bi-polar dresses, amazonian prints, vinyl jumpsuits with chained straps, athletic flashbacks from the ’90s, golden lip stains, feathers, ruffles, sequins, acid shades, various versions of fanny packs and of course lots of Kaia Gerber. Check out the latest fashion from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Valentino, Balmain, Givenchy, Lacoste, Chloé etc.
The very first look out kicked off #MariaGraziaChiuri’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection with a powerful new statement! ‘WHY HAVE THERE BEEN NO GREAT WOMEN ARTISTS?’ – a provocative query by Linda Nochlin printed across a striped t-shirt. The model wearing it, Sasha Pivovarova, is also a noted artist, and an embodiment of the message that you can accomplish your ambitions if you believe in yourself, as our Artistic Director #MariaGraziaChiuri and collection inspiration Niki de Saint Phalle also successfully managed to do! #DiorSS18 #PFW
