It’s the tabloid’s favorite celebrity and it’s her birthday ladies and gentleman. That’s right, Kim Kardashian turns 37 years old today, and boy how she has changed. For being a style and makeup icon, Kardashian has made some questionable choices; but hey, we can admit she is looking damn good. Plus, it must be difficult to even breathe without controversy at every corner, especially surrounding the, oh so many magazines covers Kim has graced us with over the years. So here’s to you Kim, and our top 10 favorite/iconic photoshoots you have left us with.

Strip a pose: Kim for W Magazine, November 2010
Well if this girl knows anything, it’s how to have a provocative photo shoot. This throwback of a spread is Kardashian painted in silver paint and carefully placed words to cover the nudity.

Back to back: Kim and Kanye for L’officiel Hommes, March 2013
The two things you think of when you think of Kim are nudity and sexuality, and this cover takes the cake. Posing with hubby, Kanye West, we get a quite risque shoot that leaves nothing to the imagination.

Here comes the bride: Kimye for Vogue, April 2014
Looks like every girl’s dream. Kimye graced Vogue’s April issue before their Paris Wedding. Kanye made history by being 1 of only 8 men to every land a cover in Vogue and made controversial headlines as critics claimed that reality stars had no place in a fashion magazine.

Bubble Trouble: Kim for Paper, November 2014
Yup, she broke the internet. I mean, it’s kind of hard not to when posing all oiled up and nude. Oh, and not to mention she balanced a champagne glass on her axx.

For sure: Kim for Love, February 2015
The moody backdrop, minimalistic makeup, and head to toe mismatched Prada is a far cry from Kardashian’s usual shoots. With the focus on the clothing, it was a nice change for Kim.

Blondes have more fun: Kim for Vogue Brazil, June 2015
Remeber when Kim was platinum blonde for a hot second? Well, she put that hair to use in Vogue Brasil with a Marilyn Monroe type photoshoot with, of course, a Kardashian twist.

Nature calls: Kim for Vogue Spain, August 2015
Wowza. Completely stripped down, Kardashian goes natural and bares a naked face for the cover of Vogue Spain. We have to say, this is her best cover to date.

One big snappy family: The Kardashians for Cosmopolitan, November 2015
America’s favorite modern family. Posing all in white, the Kardashian girls put on the persona of the pure, perfect unit. They probably should have looked a few years down the road to see what was in store.

Got you babe: Kim for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, September 2017
Cher is that you? Kardashian channeled her style icon and her Armenian roots for this vintage looking cover.

First lady-like: Kim and North for Interview, September 2017
Kim becomes Jackie Kennedy for this issue and brings daughter, North West, in tow. Even though this was North’s first cover, it was overshadowed by the controversy over Kim being pretentious and people’s disdain towards the fact she was being compared to a first lady.
