The home shopping network, QVC, is looking to cash in on the mad hype around ‘Mad Men’ 60s style. WWD reports that Janie Bryant, costume designer for the show, designed a collection she calls Mod that will be available on QVC in September, and QVCs website next month. The price range for it will be $26 to $138.
I can’t help but feel that taken out of context and a quality film lens, these pieces will look like low grade costumes. Seriously. Tights and cheap fake animal print fur? No thank you.
