Although New York fashion week hasn’t come to an end yet, it’s already safe to announce that this event is the most varied we’ve seen one so far. According to Glamour magazine, there were 27 catwalk appearances by Plus-Size Models just in the past week; Amazing!

Among the brands and designers who decided to look at the plus side of plus-size, were Christian Siriano, Michael Kors, Prabal Gurung, Chromat, Tome, Oak, Tracy Reese, J.Crew, Who What Wear, Addition Elle and Gypsy Sport.

Christian Siriano, for example, was all about diversity. His variegated runway show was spotted with a varied scale of body types and skin colors. He featured some very beautiful plus-size models, including Candice Huffine, Marquita Pring, Georgia Pratt, Precious Lee, Jocelyn Corona, Sabina Karlsson and more.

Plus-size beauty, Ashley Graham, dominating the runway. She has walked for three different brands, among them Michael Kors, Prabal Gurung and Addition Elle.

Chromat’s sassy bodywear was shown by several plus-size models, such as Sabina Karlsson, Denise Bidot, Iskra Lawrence and the lovely Jordyn Wood.

Georgia Pratt, who walked for Christian Siriano, also performed for NY-located brand Tome. Her Instagram post was very touching, but hopefully in the future, she nor her colleagues won’t ever need to thank anyone, anymore.

We are hoping this trend will become the norm and are over the moon to see some variety. We think women of all sizes are beautiful and we are so happy some of our favorite brands think so too.
