When I think of lace, I think luxury, lusciousness and femininity, so it’s no wonder that shoe maestro’s love incorporating lace into the shoe uppers. But this coming fall, Cesare Paciotti has found a fabulous way to stand out and created what is probably the most glamorous shoe soles to date – a lace print sole. His coming A/W 10/11 shoes collection is boasting not only the lace soles, but also must-have leopard prints, sculptured heels and bold colors and shapes.
I have the feeling we’ll soon be on the lookout not of only for the red sole, when we see a coveted shoe, but a lace one as well.
