I’m excited! My neighborhood, the East Village, gets a spotlight in the next V Magazine issue.
Agyness Deyn was photographed by Alasdair McLellandid and styled by Beat Bolliger for a “Saint Mark’s Place” spread in the forthcoming New York Issue of V Magazine that hits the newsstands on September 2nd. The spread’s motto? “The Secret of Downtown Style? Anything Goes When the Attitude is Right. If these East Village Denizens Look Right At Home In Their Magpie Mix of Knits, Mesh, Denim, and Velvet. It’s Because They Are.”
I haven’t seen anyone here wearing mesh or velvet recently, but the photos are super cool, and does it mean we’ll begin seeing more of Deyn on the glossy pages again?
