While my usual opinion of Orla Kiely‘s retro prints is that they are tacky and as uncool as it gets, the new forthcoming fall collection has caught me by surprise. I’m really liking the minimal silhouettes with calm, dark colors, only a few touches of clever prints and a strong nautical vibe. Take special notice of the backwards cardigan which is a great way to introduce fall’s 50’s trend to your look without feeling you were in a time machine accident (ahm, Louis Vuitton).
