Remember that whacked out Miu Miu Fall 2010 campaign video I posted last month? Well, apparently it was shot and directed by Madonna. Not that it was planned, she did it for free and for fun.
Ginta Lapina, Miu Miu’s face for Fall 2010 campaign, tells Love magazine, “It was crazy! We were shooting Miu Miu and when we were almost done, Madonna showed up! She was supposed to have dinner with Mert and Marcus, but we were still shooting so she decided to come into the studio.” Lapina goes on to say, “We were supposed to shoot a video, so Madonna said she wanted to direct it. They said she could do it but they weren’t going to pay her and she started laughing.” She taught the models a few moves and voilà! The awful video was done in 2 hours.
