While Vogue and most of the major fashion houses really want us to wear 50s dresses and kitten heels (maybe we can also reverse the women’s rights progress while we’re at it), it’s good to know that contemporary designers still have our back.
Now that we’ve put the J. Brand Proenza Schouler painted jeans buzz behind us, can we start buzzing about these Proenza Schouler Fall 2010 platforms? The shoes were already featured in Vogue September 2010 issue’s editorial “On the Town” (Dakota Fanning is wearing the black boots).
With platforms raised to impressive heights, the shoes feature a concave curved stacked heel and uppers in moderate fall tones. And if the runway show was any indication, you can pretty much wear these shoes with anything.
If you were to invest in one ridiculously expensive pair of shoes this fall, this should probably be the one.
