Pret-a-porTea Karl Lagerfeld tea bag Donkey Creative Labs

Yesterday, I was flipping through the pages of Vogue’s September issue. With every flip I was becoming more and more annoyed that, yet again, there’s nothing remotely new or interesting in there. And all of a sudden there it was. A tiny item, a piece of information, that was new to me. In Vogue, no less. It’s a miracle!

This awesomely cute, in kind of a snooty way, tea bags collection, the Prêt-à-porTea, is a German product created by the novelty knickknacks company Donkey Creative Labs. In each collection package, you’ll find five tea bags – a tiny Donatella Versace, a tiny Karl Lagerfeld, a tiny Claudia Schiffer, a tiny Jean Paul Gaultier and a tiny Naomi Campbell holding a tiny cellphone.

By the way, there’s another, classier and snootier version of the Prêt-à-portea – an afternoon tea at the Berkeley London‘s Caramel room. There you’ll be able to enjoy your tea time while snacking on biscuits in the shape of various accessories from Spring/Summer 2010 collections.

Prêt-à-porTea, $11 from Donkey Create Labs (shipping internationally).

P.S. Don’t you love me for sparing you the too-obvious tea-bagging jokes?
