Karl Lagerfeld was scheduled to send his own signature Spring/Summer 2011 collection on the runway during Paris Fashion Week on Oct. 3. But, as WWD reports, that’s not going to happen.

Lagerfeld is said to have canceled the show to concentrate on his new vision – a “masstige” (luxury for the masses) collection he plans to be ready for next fall. This new collection will be sold online.

The existing Karl Lagerfeld brand will still exist. Only without much involvement from the man himself. It will be sold in showrooms in Paris and Milan.
