I was certain that my Best Dressed chosen one this week would come from the Lanvin For H&M fashion show last night, but everyone was wearing the same damn Lanvin For H&M dress. Nobody surprised me with a real Lanvin.
And so, this week’s Best Dressed ode goes to Florence Welch who attended the FINCA 25th Anniversary gala event at Capitale Bowery wearing a black draped velvet dress and black Yves Saint Laurent Palais platform pumps. Her perfect and minimal styling completed the look.
Velvet has been making a slow but steady comeback for the past few seasons and I’m completely embracing it.
