It was last year when Roger Vivier artistic director Bruno Frisoni decided to stop the label’s couture line. “When I showed couture in January, I was thinking it was something that wasn’t me anymore. I thought the time had passed,” he said at the time.

Bruno Frisoni maybe doesn’t produce couture looks for Roger Vivier anymore, but he hasn’t stopped creating. A new Roger Vivier limited-edition accessories line titled Rendez-Vous was born. Consisting of luxurious handmade shoes and clutches, Rendez-Vous items are produced in quantities of 10-20 of each. We are essentially talking about haute couture accessories here.

Meeting with Telegraph‘s Hilary Alexander, Frisoni explained that the new Rendez-Vous collection is about “Marlene Dietrich-meets-punk” – a sort of hard-edge sophistication.

Rendez-Vous will be available in Frisoni’s boutiques beginning next fall.
